The Ministry of Digital Development suggested that users to visit Russian sites and online services, in particular Gosuslug, install browsers that support the Russian security certificate.
As follows from the mailing sent to users of the service, some users could have difficulty accessing a number of sites, including the public services portal. Their cause may be problems in the work of certificate authorities that check the security and reliability of Internet sites. The necessary functionality, according to the department’s mailing list, is available for Yandex.Browser and Atom (Mail.ru Group browser).
Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” In response to Russia’s actions, Western countries (USA, Canada, European Union, Great Britain, Japan) announced new, tougher sanctions against the Russian Federation, including financial and economic ones.
