Three migrants suspected of the brutal murder of a 20-year-old girl were detained in the Leningrad Region. This was reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

According to investigators, on September 18, 2021, men abducted the girl and took her away in a car near the village of Myaglovo, where they shot her twice with a traumatic pistol. She was later beaten to death with multiple blows to the head with a metal object. After the massacre, three criminals aged 26, 28 and 48 fled the scene.

The body of the deceased was found in October 2021. The Investigative Committee initiated and investigated a criminal case under article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”). It was not possible to solve the crime in hot pursuit, however, in the course of well-planned joint work of forensic investigators and police officers, it was possible to find the criminals.

At the request of the investigation, the court arrested and sent all the detainees to a pre-trial detention center for the duration of the investigation.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee brought charges against four migrants who beat to death a Pyaterochka cashier in Istra.
