Petersburg recorded a seasonal outbreak of influenza and SARS

In the northern capital, the seasonal rise in the incidence of influenza and SARS continues, reports the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg. In the city, mainly among adults, parainfluenza, adeno, boca, rhino and RS viruses are fixed, there are isolated cases of influenza.

At the same time, the incidence rate decreased by 15.2% compared to the previous week. Children also began to get sick a little less often than a week ago:

at the age of 0-2 years – by 60.2%, 3-6 years old – by 45.1%, 7-14 years old – by 48.3%.

The Office recommended not to neglect wearing a mask, avoid contact with sick people, wash your hands and rinse your nose more often.

“Regularly ventilate, do wet cleaning, humidify the air in the room where you are. Eat as many foods containing vitamin C as possible and as many dishes as possible with the addition of garlic and onions, ”the Rospotrebnadzor advised.

Earlier, Rosbalt wrote that St. Petersburg was again in the lead in terms of infected COVID-19, another 2,642 cases were detected in the city.
