In less than 24 hours, a new hit-man-style attack is reported in the city of Portoviejo, capital of Manabí.
This time the attack was against people who were playing bingo in the Briones citadel, a sector belonging to the San Pablo parish, in the north of Portoviejo.
The incident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Monday 7, when people traveling on motorcycles arrived at a sector of the aforementioned urban parish of Portoviejo, and shot directly at two people who were playing bingo.
Hearing the bullets, some of those present fell to the ground and looked for ways to get to safety.
Three people are murdered on a cocoa farm in Manabí; a minor was injured
The injured people were identified as Lucía M., and Juan M. Both were taken to the emergency room of the Verdi Cevallos Balda hospital in Portoviejo.
The woman was shot in the buttock, while the man had several bullet wounds in his body.
Agents of the National Police were deployed to the scene of the incident.
This event was recorded less than a day after the attack suffered by a man, who was shot on the eastern outskirts of Portoviejo while traveling with his son, barely 18 months old, and a sister-in-law.
In this case, only the man sustained several injuries to his body, while his son and his in-laws were not shot, it was said. (I)
