Sanctions pressure from Western countries on Russia will grow. US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken warned about this.

He made the statement during a meeting with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba at the Polish-Ukrainian border, TASS reports.

“The pressure on Russia is not only unprecedented, not only produces very concrete results in Russia, but this pressure will only continue, it will increase until this operation is completed,” Blinken said.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov called the sanctions of the West “economic banditry.”

Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.” The Russian and Ukrainian delegations have already held talks twice to resolve the situation, including the opening of humanitarian corridors. Discussions will continue. We add that Western countries are imposing sanctions in response to Russia’s actions.
