Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that NATO “is not the way Ukrainians imagined it,” and the position of the alliance “does not command respect.” It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to Kuleba, NATO had an agreement on bilateral assistance of its allies to Ukraine, but the alliance, in his opinion, “as an organization has essentially disappeared.” The diplomat expressed hope that the position of the organization would change, but at the moment this position does not inspire respect.

Kuleba also stressed that in NATO they say only in words that they are ready to fight for every inch of their land, but in reality they do not approve of practical decisions. And when Russia sees this, it understands that “NATO feels fear.”

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky accused the alliance of “internal uncertainty”. According to the Ukrainian leader, the March 4 NATO summit was “weak” and “disunited”. It shows, he clarified, that not all members of the alliance consider the struggle for the freedom of Europe a paramount task.

According to him, all that NATO is capable of today is to transport tons of diesel fuel for Ukraine. However, such measures will not be able to “pay off” the country, Zelensky said.

Recall that the Foreign Ministers of the NATO countries stressed that they are not a party to the conflict and, in order to prevent further escalation, they will not send troops to Ukraine and will not close the sky over this country.
