NATO “created a narrative” that closing the skies over Ukraine would lead to a clash between the alliance and Russia, due to “internal uncertainty.” This, according to TASS, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the March 4 NATO summit was “weak” and “disunited”. It shows, he clarified, that not all members of the alliance consider the struggle for the freedom of Europe a paramount task. Zelensky expressed the opinion that Russia’s potential “aggression” against NATO is a “self-hypnosis” of those who own powerful weapons, but are “internally” unsure of themselves.

According to him, all that NATO is capable of today is to transport tons of diesel fuel for Ukraine. However, such measures will not be able to “pay off” the country, Zelensky said.

Earlier, we recall, the Foreign Ministers of the NATO countries stressed that they are not a party to the conflict and, in order to prevent further escalation, they will not send troops to Ukraine and will not close the sky over this country.

In addition, the leader of Ukraine once again denied the information that he had left the country. On his Instagram, he wrote a message in which he recalled that this kind of news appears “every two days.” “I’m in Kyiv, at my workplace… I didn’t run away,” Zelensky wrote under the video.
