A citizen tried to kill himself at the dam in Agoyán, at dawn on Wednesday 27.

At dawn on Wednesday 27, elements of the National Police working in Baños de Agua Santa prevented a man from attempting against his life when he tried to jump off the bridge of the dam in Agoyán.
The uniformed men noticed the presence of the citizen at the height of the Agoyán hydroelectric bridge. Immediately, they approached the subject and began to convince him not to jump. After several minutes, the man finally gave up his intention to commit suicide.
The policemen talked to him and reassured him. Later they transferred him to the Basic Hospital of Baños de Agua Santa to receive medical attention.
Relatives of the citizen went to that hospital to verify his state of health. (I)
