Violent attacks persist in southern areas of Guayaquil. Two cases were reported in recent hours in the suburb and the Santiaguito Roldós cooperative.
In the first case, the sports game shared by a group of friends was interrupted by a bullet attack on 32nd and Febres Cordero streets, near the salty estuary, in the suburb.

Two men were involved in this event who suddenly arrived on a black motorcycle, around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2.
There, one of them shot several times against a citizen.
The young man, approximately 25 years old, was injured in the foot and right arm, police officers reported.
After the fact, the two antisocials fled through the same bridge that crosses over a branch of the Salado estuary.
The affected person does not have a criminal record. According to the agents, the victim stated that she “had no problems with anyone.”
The young man was admitted to a public hospital and remains stable.
At the scene, Criminalistics personnel were responsible for the removal of vestiges. Nine ballistic evidence, eight shell casings and one deformed shell were found at the scene.
Yesterday afternoon, in one of the alleys of the Santiaguito Roldós cooperative, near the Good Friday park, in the south, a hitman-style attack by a citizen was reported.
At the time of the attack, perpetrated under the same modality, the victim was sharing with relatives outside his property, where a collapsible swimming pool had been installed.
Several of the impacts were in a car that was parked in the area. A man was shot.
Most of the victims of violent deaths recorded so far this year in Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón were between 16 and 38 years old
Police guard was maintained in the area several meters away from the site.
Zone 8, made up of Guayaquil, Durán and Samborondón, has accumulated at least 214 violent deaths so far this year. According to authorities, most of these cases (92%) are linked to problems of micro and drug trafficking. (I)
