The United States is ready to negotiate on Ukraine if Russia withdraws its troops. This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

I maintain almost daily contact with my friend and colleague Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba,” the head of the State Department added. “I have made it clear that we will support any diplomatic efforts on the part of the Ukrainian authorities to achieve a truce and the withdrawal of Russian forces.”

As Blinken recalled, the United States and its allies are coordinating actions to accelerate the supply of air defense (AD) equipment, anti-tank systems, ammunition for small arms and other weapons to Ukraine. “We are watching very closely what is happening in Ukraine now, including what is happening to civilians,” he added. “We celebrate it, we document it, and, among other things, we want to make sure that accountability will follow,”

At the same time, Blinken confirmed that the United States is not going to fight on the side of Kyiv and, moreover, urge Americans not to travel to Ukraine. “For those who want to help Ukraine and its people, there are many ways to do this, including by supporting and helping the many NGOs that are working to provide humanitarian assistance,” he added.
