The citizens and merchants who are settled in the surroundings of a bank, located between Fourth and October 7 streets, in Quevedo, in Los Ríos, remain in anxiety.
This after the bullets they heard at noon this Wednesday, March 2. According to the inhabitants, three heavily armed, hooded subjects fired into the air after leaving this banking agency. The men threatened to shoot anyone who gets in the way of their escape.
Preliminarily it was known that the victim was a user of the bank, whose money was taken from him when he tried to deposit it in that place.
Once the Police arrived at the site, they cordoned off the exteriors and searched the users who remained inside the bank agency. Minutes later one by one they left the place, but they refused to give information to the press.
The Police at the moment have not ruled, but it is known that there are no detainees. There is also no official version of the injured party(s).
The amount of money they took is unknown.
Attention at the bank was suspended, causing inconvenience to users, who from early hours remained outside waiting to carry out their transactions.
Until 1:00 p.m., the exteriors of the agency were cordoned off and guarded by the National Police. (I)
