The Turkish authorities refused to allow three Russian ships based outside the Black Sea to pass, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with Haberturk TV channel.
According to RBC, Cavusoglu said that Turkey “demanded from Russia to cancel the application for the passage through the straits of ships that are not part of the Black Sea Fleet.” According to him, Russia agreed with this demand.
