The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it would strike at the building of the 72nd Main Center for Information and Psychological Operations and at the facilities of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv “to suppress information attacks against Russia.” This is stated in the official mailing of the department.
The statement clarifies that since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, the number of cyber attacks on Russian government institutions has increased many times over, citizens of the Russian Federation receive threatening calls, as well as false reports about the mining of schools, kindergartens, railway stations and other social infrastructure facilities.
According to the Ministry of Defense, in order to prevent cyber attacks against the Russian Federation, the SBU facilities and the 72nd main PSO center in Kyiv will be hit with high-precision weapons. The department urged residents of Kiev living near these objects to leave their homes.
Recall, on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin made an emergency appeal to the Russians and announced a special military operation in the Donbass. In his speech, he stated that “circumstances require decisive action from Russia” and stressed that “Russia will not allow Ukraine to have nuclear weapons.”
