The Moscow authorities approved plans for the development of the capital’s education for 2022.
The Presidium of the Government of Moscow considered the issue of implementing the state program of the city “Capital Education”, the press service of the mayor’s office reported. Among the priority tasks were the further development of pre-profile, profile, pre-professional education and the formation of a modern pre-professional environment in high school, the development of the Moscow e-school, a system of independent diagnostics of the quality of education, as well as a further improvement in the quality of school management.
Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, during a discussion of the implementation of the state program, said that in 2021 the first students were accepted by 26 Moscow schools and 34 kindergartens. He also clarified that 95% of the parents of the capital’s first-graders chose a school in their area of ​​residence.
The mayor noted that in Moscow all needy children from two years of four months are provided with places in kindergartens.
