Aggressive actions against Russia are ultra-concentrated. This was announced by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, according to TASS.
Earlier, French Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire said that the countries of the European Union intend to start a “total economic war” against Russia.
“We are going to wage a global economic and financial war against Russia,” he warned.
To this, Peskov replied that “this is not the first statement of this kind.”
“Yes, now these aggressive actions against our country are of an ultra-concentrated nature, but they have taken place before,” he noted and added that “the masks have been removed.”
Sanctions, in particular, hit Russian banks, including Sberbank, VTB, Novikombank, FC Otkritie and Sovcombank. This happened after a special Russian military operation in Ukraine began on February 24. The head of the Russian Defense Ministry, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, said that Russia would continue it until the achievement of its goals. According to Shoigu, the main task of this operation is to protect Russia from the military threat from Western countries, which “are trying to use the Ukrainian people in the fight against our country.”
