The decision of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation to raise the key rate from 9.5% to 20% per annum will lead to irreparable consequences for business. This was stated in a commentary for Newsler.ru by the head of the faction “A Just Russia – Patriots – for the Truth” in the Legislative Assembly of the Kirov Region, General Director of Vyatka-Ugol Company LLC Dmitry Russkikh.

He said that the company had already received a call from the servicing bank and was told that in fact the rate for entrepreneurs would be 23-25%. “And then the bank warned:“ This is for now. I can evaluate this as a certain collapse of everything that happens in general. It is clear that business is not ready to work at such rates. And even those old contracts that we had concluded – they will all be revised. This is such a very terrible story, and I do not understand how everything will happen next. In principle, today no one can say what awaits us literally tomorrow, ”stated Dmitry Russkikh.

In his opinion, today everyone will experience a certain financial shock. “And, of course, everything that we see today, the increase in the rate, all this will then turn into an increase in the prices of goods by business, and all this will affect ordinary people. So nothing good awaits us, unfortunately. Everything that happens is some kind of trouble, and there is no end in sight, and it is not clear what awaits us. So we need to prepare for the worst, ”said the deputy and businessman.

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation decided to urgently raise the key rate to 20%. Previously, it has consistently increased, but not higher than a percentage, and amounted to 9.5%. The regulator explained that the external conditions for the Russian economy “dramatically changed.”
