The Ukrainian delegation at the talks is not going to give up, there will be no capitulation. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba during an online briefing for foreign journalists, UNIAN quotes him.

According to Kuleba, Ukraine is now “so close to the entry of the Belarusian armed forces into the war,” which is why President Zelensky and President Lukashenko spoke today. “Because we must protect our northern border and we must minimize the threats that will come from there,” Kuleba explained, adding that for this reason the Ukrainian authorities agreed to send a delegation to the crossing point of the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.

“We are not going to go to Gomel, a city in Belarus that serves as a military base for Russia. We’ll meet at the border. We are going there to listen to what Russia wants to say,” Kuleba stressed.

According to him, earlier Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko assured Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky that no Belarusian military forces would be used against Ukraine. “And this is already an achievement, and we can only hope that Alexander Lukashenko will keep his word,” Kuleba added.

According to him, “if the result of these negotiations is peace and the end of the war, this should be welcomed.” “But, I clearly declare, we will not surrender, we will not capitulate, we will not surrender a single piece of our territory,” the Ukrainian minister summed up.

It should be noted that in these minutes, negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations will start near the Belarusian Gomel. According to Sputnik Belarus, the exact place for negotiations between Russia and Ukraine is the Aleksandrovka and Vilcha checkpoints. The nearest Belarusian city is Narovlya, the media specifies.
