Know the state of the roads in different parts of the country, prior to the carnival holiday

On the eve of the carnival holiday, which will be from Saturday, February 26 to Tuesday, March 1, the ECU911 Integrated Security System gave a report on the state of the roads in different parts of the country, so that travelers take precautions when moving to their destinations.

The report was released at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25.

the vAloag – Santo Domingo, in the Unión del Toachi sector, was closed for about an hour, due to a crowd of people who were located at the toll booth. The Pichincha Prefecture reported that the path was cleared with the help of the Ecuadorian Transit Commission (CTE) and the National Police.

Similarly, the prefecture indicated that there was a landslide at kilometer 42 of the Via Middle of the World – White River, in the Calacalí sector, northwest of Quito, which prevented traffic for several minutes. For 18:47 the road has already been enabled. (I)
