From the Saturday, February 26 through Tuesday, March 1 the parking lots that are the responsibility of the Municipality of Quito will have a special hours to serve visitors of the capital in parks, viewpoints and tourist centers, especially the historic center.
According to a bulletin from the Metropolitan Public Company for Mobility and Public Works (Epmmop), there are around 7,000 parking spaces available in the south, north, center and valleys.
Historical Center
The parking lots in the historic center will be open from March 26 to March 1. The tile (Brother Miguel street), Saint Blaise (Caldas and Guayaquil streets), Montufar 1 (Antonio Bustamante y Olmedo) and Montufar 2 (Av. Pichincha and Olmedo), They will attend from 06:00 to 20:00.

The rate per hour or fraction in these spaces is $0.75 from 06:00 to 17:59, and from 18:00 to 05:59, it is $0.90.

The parking lots: Bicentennial A, B and C, (located in the park of the same name) Carolina from 1 to 8, (La Carolina Park), Carollo 1 and 2 (Full Sports park) will work from 06:00 to 19:00.
The parking lot Cumbaya (av. Pampite and Chimborazo) will provide its services only until February 28. The hours are also from 06:00 to 19:00. In La Red, the value of the rate, per hour or fraction, is $0.50.
Blue Zone
The parking lots located on various roads in the capital will maintain special hours:
- From February 25 to March 1, La Mariscal 1, La Tola-Mercado Central and San Roque – El Tejar will remain active, from 08:00 to 16:00.
- Only Marshal 1 (which includes the surroundings of Plaça Foch) will lend the service until 02:00, during these days.
The value of the rate per hour or fraction, during weekends and holidays, is $0.80.

The Quito Passenger Company informed, through a bulletin, that the services of Trolleybus, Ecovía and their feeders will attend the four days of the carnival holiday with the following schedules:
- trunks Ecovia and Trolleybus: From Saturday February 26 to Tuesday March 1, from 06:00 to 20:00.
- Feeders: From Saturday February 26 to Tuesday March 1, from 06:00 to 21:00.
