This Friday morning about 30 people dressed in black and with emblems of the National Police violently entered the courtyards of the Judicial Police, in the Marianas sector (Calderón), north of Quito. Initially it is thought that it was a robbery, but the authorities have not disclosed what the antisocials could have stolen.
The violent entry would have occurred at approximately 02:00 this Friday, February 25. Apparently a police officer was carrying out a procedure with a vehicle recovered, when the group of antisocials burst into the place through the main door and carrying long weapons proceed to intimidate three police officers who were on the site.
They steal $ 180,000 and evidence of operations inside the warehouse of the Judicial Police of Santo Domingo
The criminals before taking a feeder and a belt with the police weapon from two gendarmes, they physically assaulted them. They would have immediately handcuffed them and taken the three uniformed men into a dark room.
On recovered cars are generally located in the courtyards and in the warehouse of the Judicial Police in a police proceeding or that are part of an ongoing criminal proceeding. Elements of all kinds that have been recovered in police raid operations would also be entered on the site.
Until now, the police institution has not officially made a statement, but it is known that in the investigations Agents from Specialized Police Units would already be operating.
