Six new judges will be part of the three Judicial Units Specialized in Penitentiary Guarantees, created by the Judicial Council (CJ) in Machala (El Oro), Quito (Pichincha) and Santo Domingo de los Colorados (Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas). These are added to those already existing in the provinces of Guayas, Azuay, Cotopaxi and Manabí.
