Foreign Ministry enables emergency channels for Ecuadorians in Ukraine

The Ecuadorian Foreign Minister, Juan Carlos Holguín, announced through his Twitter account that they enabled several emergency channels for compatriots in Ukraine.

Holguín during the early morning said that they are in constant communication with Ecuadorians who live in Ukraine. “This morning we have been in continuous communication with our compatriots in Ukraine, in order to provide them with options for internal and external transfer. The situation has changed in a matter of hours. We reject any act of war that puts the civilian population on alert,” he said.

In addition, he recalled that Ecuador called for peace in Ukraine, “to the defense of international law and respect for the United Nations charter.”
