A team of people from various entities, which exceeds a thousand officials, will be in charge of providing security to the thousands of visitors who arrive in Manta during the carnival holidays.
For this, 550 policemen, traffic agents, 144 Citizen Security control agents, 90 firefighters, 26 lifeguards, as well as Territorial Control inspectors, tourism servers, police station, among others, will be deployed, according to the municipality of Manta.
Patrolling and terrestrial and aquatic surveillance will be the priority on the beaches, where ambulances will also circulate ready when they are required.

The control work in the canton will not stop, and there will be greater emphasis on the points of greatest concurrence, such as spas, shopping and entertainment centers, which will be observed from the monitoring center that the council maintains together maintain and the ECU911.

Rodny Chávez, chief of Police Subzone 13 in Manabí, indicated that these coordinations even came with mayors and with the police administration of this province.
“There will be preventive patrolling in resorts, airports and land terminals, controls integrated with the transit service. A call is made to the public to avoid public scandals due to alcohol consumption”, stated Chávez. (I)
