The command of the Operation of the Joint Forces of Ukraine decided to close the 10-kilometer zone along the contact line in Donbass to the public.

This was announced by a representative of the press center of the headquarters at a briefing, which was broadcast on Facebook.

According to a statement from the command, the decision was made “due to the deteriorating security situation.” The restriction will be in effect from 6:00 on February 23. A ban is introduced on visiting areas of joint forces operations and settlements within the boundaries of a 10-kilometer strip along the line of collision. An exception will be made for international organizations that deliver or transfer humanitarian aid.

It is also reported that the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday submitted a draft resolution on an appeal to the President of Ukraine to declare martial law in the Donbass and stop transport links with the Russian Federation, as well as to close the border with Belarus and the Russian Federation. A message about this was published on the website of the Ukrainian Parliament.
