President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of a program of “economic patriotism”, which involves creating incentives for business and reducing the tax burden.

In his video message, Zelensky emphasized that the program includes “additional incentives for localizing production, targeted programs to support certain industries, reducing the tax burden on businesses and inspections, incentives to attract household funds to business and the banking system, reducing VAT on gasoline and diesel, which will reduce gas station prices.

According to the Ukrainian leader, the goal of the program is “to achieve economic independence, especially in the energy sector.” In addition, he said that he intended to meet with representatives of big business.” All of them should stay in Ukraine. Their enterprises are located on our Ukrainian land, which is protected by our military, which means that business must protect our economy, finances, and create jobs,” Zelensky added.

Recall, earlier it was reported that the President of Ukraine announced the call-up of reservists for military service in connection with a “special period for the country.”
