The via Calacalí-Río Blanco is still enabled, although they still carry out cleaning with heavy machinery, therefore, traffic is controlled.

the two ways more complicated are Alóag-Unión del Toachi, which has reported 40 landslides, and Calacalí-Río Blanco, with 70 slides approximately, added Pabón. The two highways are the main routes that allow the capital connection of Ecuador with the other cities, on the south and north side, respectively.

The Road closures will remain as long as the rains continue, in order to protect the lives of drivers and passengers traveling on these roads.

Prefectural authorities asked users to stay informed through the institution’s communication mechanisms.

Pabon reported that will do everything possible so that the roads remain open during the carnival holiday, however, he pointed out that everything will depend on the intensity of the rains in the sector. (I)
