The Ecuadorian Air Force (FAE) has started a new recruitment process for young people seeking to train as officers and airmen.
On its website, the FAE published the minimum requirements that young people interested in being part of this military component must meet.
Enrollment Requirements
- Being Ecuadorian by birth.
- Be of legal age (18 years old) or have completed it until the selection process.
- The maximum age for application is 22 years.
- Do not register criminal records or pending legal proceedings.
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate of being in the last year of school.
- Take the Transform test.
- Not have been discharged from active service in the Armed Forces or National Police.
- Minimum and maximum height. The maximum height is 1.90 cm.
- In the case of pilot cadets, a minimum of 1.63 cm for women and 1.65 for men.
- For aspiring technical cadets, the minimum height for women is 1.55 cm and for men 1.65 cm.
- For those interested in air technician positions, women must meet a minimum height of 1.55 cm and 1.60 cm for technical and infantry specialties. For men the height is 1.65 cm.
Steps for the application
First, the applicant must enter the Web page for FAE recruitment and must follow the procedure.
- Select the process that corresponds to Recruitment Cadets and Students 2022.
- Select the place of registration.
- Choose the specialty to apply. The options are: infant student, technical student, pilot cadet, technical cadet.
- Enter the ID number. The National Directorate of Public Data Registry (Dinardap), will validate this personal information.
- You must complete the process and then click validate.
