The European Union will deploy a non-combat advisory and training mission in Ukraine. This is reported by TASS with reference to the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Dmitry Kuleba.
This decision was announced by a representative of the department in Brussels following a meeting with the heads of the ministries of foreign affairs of the EU states. He stressed that a fundamental decision had already been made on the issue of the mission.
According to Kuleba, the EU countries will also provide Ukraine with a number of proposals to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity.
Earlier, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry “reproached” the West for the Budapest Memorandum, saying that Kiev’s refusal of nuclear weapons was a mistake. When asked if he believes that Ukraine should not have given up nuclear weapons, and that the decision itself was a mistake, Kuleba replied: “Yes.”
We also recall that US President Joseph Biden said that Russia’s “attack” on Ukraine could happen “in the coming days.” Moreover, he expressed confidence that Putin allegedly decided on an “invasion”. The American leader added that the United States will not send its soldiers to Ukraine, but will continue to support the Ukrainian people. In the event of an “invasion”, Russia faces sanctions. Moscow denies all accusations and says it has no intention of attacking anyone.
We add that now the situation around Ukraine has escalated due to shelling, and the LPR and DPR have announced general mobilization, the population is being evacuated to Russia.
