Petersburg fined seven bars for night work

In the northern capital, seven bars were fined for working at night, the press service of the property control committee reports. On the night from Friday to Saturday, officials, together with the police, raided catering establishments. Of the 23 bars, seven of the anti-covid regulations of St. Petersburg were violated, continuing to work after midnight.

Sanitary safety measures were neglected in restaurants on Touristskaya and Instrumentalnaya streets and Nevsky Prospekt, hookah bars on Optikov and Bolshaya Konyushennaya streets, and bars on Engels and Bolshaya Konyushennaya streets. Visitors smoked hookahs, the heads of the establishments could not show the inspection logs of disinfection and thermometry. Some cafes did not have markings on the floor to maintain social distance, the waiters did not wear masks, and the organization itself did not have a QR code. In one of the restaurants, officials got into a disco.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the heads of institutions, which provide for a fine of up to 300 thousand rubles.

Recall that from Monday in St. Petersburg extended the opening hours of the cinema and catering until two in the morning.
