Russian troops were ordered to launch an invasion of Ukraine. This was announced by the correspondent of the American television channel CBS News on national security, David Martin, citing intelligence available to journalists.

According to him, the commanders on the ground were tasked with developing specific maneuvers in their sectors of the battlefield. “Intelligence indicates that they are doing everything that American commanders would do if they were ordered to act,” the journalist added.

So far there has been no official confirmation or refutation that these data were actually received from American intelligence.

The hypothetical Russian invasion of Ukraine, “scheduled” for the winter months of 2021/2022, has been on the pages of the world media for the fourth month in a row and is accompanied by promises of unprecedented sanctions in case of an attack. Fuel is added to the fire by the joint military exercises of Russia and Belarus, as well as the aggravation of the situation in the unrecognized republics of the DPR and LPR, where general mobilization has been announced, and the evacuation of civilians to Russian regions has begun.
