Ana Isabel Cobo, 22, was elected Queen of Ambato in the program that began at 7:00 p.m. this Saturday at the Cerrado de los Deportes Coliseum. She will be in charge of presiding over the Fruit and Flower Festival (FFF) in its 71st edition, which will have the main days of festivities between February 25 and March 1.
The sovereign of the Ambateños will be accompanied by Michelle Quinde, who was elected Miss Municipal Government, and Camila Sanmiguel, Miss Provincial Government. While the five candidates who participated in the reign chose Pamela Herrera as Miss Friendship.
Cobo, who represented the Research and Development Center of the Ecuadorian Air Force (CID-FAE), Cantonal Agricultural Center, Chamber of Commerce and Speedy Internet, was excited after the election.
He said that projects will be promoted for the benefit of the Ambateño community, especially vulnerable sectors.

In addition to the gala dress, the candidates also made their presentation in typical attire of the women of the ancestral peoples of the Ecuadorian Sierra. They answered the question that was evaluated by the qualifying jury, which was made up of the Manabi beauty queen Virginia Limongi, the journalist and television producer Taimi Soto and the Ecuadorian stylist Miguel Caballero.
The artistic presentation was in charge of the Ambateña Yadira Navarrete, Daniel Páez and Samo. The public arrived at the coliseum in a little more than 50% of the capacity of the sports arena (which is approximately 8,000 spectators).
