Mortgage rates can increase up to 15%. It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Equifax credit bureau.

“Most likely, the fall in January is a temporary factor that will be leveled in the very near future. The value of TIC will return to the already shown 13 percent and may well reach 15 percent,” said Oleg Lagutkin, CEO of the company.

On February 18, Sberbank announced an increase in mortgage rates for new buildings and secondary housing immediately by 1 percentage point to 11.3%, follows from the data on the website of the financial institution.
Earlier this month, Sberbank already raised rates on these programs, also by 1 percentage point to 10.3%, and now reacted to the recent increase in the key rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation from 8.5% to 9.5% per annum.

Moreover, the average size of mortgage loans in Russian banks resumed growth in January and amounted to a record 3.89 million rubles, TASS reported with reference to the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI).
