Refugees from Donbass can come to 26 more regions of Russia

Krasnodar Territory, Moscow Region and other regions can accept refugees from Donbass. This, according to TASS, was announced by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Viktor Yatsutsenko.

“Seven regions of Russia are ready to accept refugees. These are the Krasnodar Territory, Kursk, Voronezh, Belgorod, Oryol, Bryansk, Moscow regions,” he said.

According to Yatsutsenko, these regions are ready to receive over 28.9 thousand people.

Later, Acting Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Chupriyan said that 26 regions were already ready to accept refugees, Interfax reports. What specifically, Chupriyan did not list.

At the same time, the head of Rospotrebnadzor said that it is better not to place refugees in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories because of the upcoming tourist season.

The evacuation of residents of the DPR and LPR to Russia began the day before due to the aggravation of the situation. On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, refugees arriving in the Russian region will be paid 10,000 rubles each. Both self-proclaimed republics announced a general mobilization. In the Rostov region, due to the influx of refugees from the Donbass, a state of emergency was introduced.
