Ukraine asks Germany and France to send their representatives to the OSCE SMM for an independent assessment of the situation in Donbass. Irina Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of the country, said this on Friday, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Vereshchuk, an independent verification is needed. That is why Kiev turned to the Normandie participants and asked Germany and France to resolve the issue of providing their representatives to the OSCE SMM as soon as possible, the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

“We are ready and allow the OSCE mission to all points that are only needed,” Vereshchuk said.

Earlier, we recall, the leadership of the self-proclaimed DPR and LPR announced the temporary evacuation of citizens to the Rostov region in connection with the threat of Ukraine’s invasion. First of all, the evacuation concerns women, children and the elderly.

Representatives of the people’s republics previously claimed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on their positions. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine assured that Kiev does not plan any military actions and military operations in the Donbass.
