The reason for the collapse of the Red Triangle building could be the actions of marauders or persons interested in the territory. This version was voiced in a commentary to a Rosbalt correspondent by two residents of the house adjacent to the former factory, on the Obvodny Canal embankment.

“Look at the walls, they are strong, they were built to last. Everyone went there: young people, someone else, no problem, ”said the woman, who wished to remain anonymous.

She did not rule out that marauders were operating on the territory, who cut metal for personal gain.

Local resident Oleg, on the contrary, considers the walls of the former factory fragile.

“It is quite expected that everything collapsed. Everything is dilapidated. Although everything is possible in our world, so it does not seem to me an implausible version that they did it on purpose. And I’m glad. There are a lot of historical buildings in the very center, but we can build normal housing here. It’s impossible to look at it anymore. Tired of living in this junk, ”complained Oleg.

In the meantime, cars damaged during the collapse began to be taken away from the territory.
