The aggravation of the situation in the Donbass continues, the military of Ukraine and the authorities of the unrecognized republics accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.

In particular, the headquarters of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbass reported that from the beginning of the day until 22:00 Moscow time, the militia carried out 50 attacks on Ukrainian positions. At the same time, according to the military, 39 out of 50 attacks were carried out with the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements.

According to the headquarters, the fire was fired from 122 mm and 152 mm caliber artillery, 82 and 120 mm caliber mortars, hand and heavy anti-tank grenade launchers, automatic heavy grenade launchers, tank weapons, anti-tank missile systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. Two servicemen and two civilians were injured, “the construction of a kindergarten and power lines in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, Lugansk region, were damaged, three kindergarten employees were shell-shocked,” the report says.

In turn, the representation of the self-proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) announced shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Thursday evening. According to representatives of the LPR, shelling on the territory of the republic was carried out four times within an hour using grenade launchers, anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and heavy machine guns. The settlements of Molodezhnoye, Zolote-5, Slavyanoserbsk and Sokolniki were subjected to shelling.
