There, on the sidewalk, they found the artifact and notified the Anti-Explosives Group, which arrived on the scene to pick up the handmade object that was covered with a black cover.
The experts under the command of Lieutenant Álex Mosquera analyzed the equipment and concluded that it is a homemade explosive device (fuse, primer, primary charge, secondary charge and shrapnel as rulimans attached to the object).
The lifting and extraction of the explosive was carried out without incident. It was moved to a secure location for destruction.

The owners of the bakery found out about the news when they arrived at work this Thursday morning. They said that they have not received any kind of threats and that they have no debts with anyone.
They expect the police to investigate the incident. This is not the first time this type of emergency has been reported in this sector. In fact, in Bastion Popular about a dozen of these artifacts and grenades have been found since last year. (I)
