Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić presented the Order of the Star of Karageorge, 2nd class, to Aleksey Rubizhny, head of the Security Service of the President of the Russian Federation and at the same time the highest observer of the Russian Boxing Federation, as well as Umar Kremlev, who is the head of the International Boxing Association (IBA). The event was attended by the legendary actor Johnny Depp and the Serbian actor Milos Bikovich, popular in Russia, as guests of honor.
In addition, the ceremony was attended by the head of the Serbian Ministry of Sports, Vanja Udovichic, and Nenad Borovchanin, head of the Serbian Boxing Federation.
Kremlev and Rubizhnoy received a high award for the interaction of the two countries. Their contribution to the development of boxing is also noted. So, at the end of 2021, the world championship in this sport among men was organized in the Serbian capital. Vucic noted the active work of Kremlev in the field of boxing development, and also expressed gratitude to him for productive and professional cooperation.
According to Kremlev, it was a great honor for him to receive such a high award. He thanked the government and the Ministry of Sports of Serbia, the Serbian people and the local boxing federation, as well as the teams, coaches and boxers who took part in the aforementioned World Boxing Championship. The tournament was held at the highest level, which was facilitated by the efforts of all parties, the Kremlin stressed.
