Russians have created a petition on the Change.org website, “for” which it is proposed to vote if a citizen is not ready to give up the 13th salary “for the sake of recognition by Russia of the DPR and LPR.”

The text recalls that the State Duma discussed a draft appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the recognition of the independence of the DNR and LNR. The majority of deputies supported the document.

“The deputy of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, a certain Kazbek Taysaev, said that the Russians are ready to give up not only 13 salaries for the sake of recognition by Russia of the DPR and LPR. “The people of Russia fully support our resolution and are ready to give up not only the 13th salary,” he said. So, Kazbek, not having the authority to do so, declared on behalf of the entire people of the Russian Federation that he was ready to give up the meager money he had earned for his family and loved ones. If you think that Kazbek is wrong, and that the people are more likely to refuse the salaries of State Duma deputies, including Kazbek, sign the petition,” the text says.

The State Duma on the eve, according to the results of the rating voting, supported the project of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which involves a direct appeal to the president with a request for recognition of the LDNR. The second draft resolution, developed by deputies from United Russia, proposed to send the draft appeal of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation first for a consultation with the Foreign Ministry, and then return to its consideration in the lower house. 351 deputies voted for the communist project, 310 voted in support of the United Russia option.

Putin said that the State Duma, asking him to recognize the DPR and LPR, is guided by public opinion, and the vast majority of Russians sympathize with the residents of Donbass.
