In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 50-year-old Russian woman was sentenced to six years in prison for the murder of her husband. This is reported by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
As the court established, in August 2018 the couple were in a country house in the village of Zhukovka. On the veranda, a quarrel broke out between them, which grew into a serious conflict. At some point, the woman grabbed a hammer and hit her husband hard, first on the head, and then kicked in the stomach. As a result, the convict beat the man to death. Realizing that they would look for her husband, she dismembered the body.
Some of the remains were buried in the yard, some parts burned in the oven. However, when the police came to search her on May 2, 2020, they managed to find fragments of the body of the deceased during the operational-search activities. The ICR opened and investigated a criminal case under article 105 (“Murder”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. During the investigation, the accused pleaded guilty to the crime she was charged with, which was taken into account by the court when sentencing.
