The Taliban terrorist movement banned in Russia will send 10,000 armed fighters to the provinces bordering Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. This was announced by the Chief of the General Staff of the armed forces of the Taliban, Kari Fasihuddin Fitrat, whose statement is quoted by Interfax.

“A powerful 10,000-strong army, armed with the most modern technology of the NATO and the United States system, deployed in the northern and northeastern provinces of the country, will take measures against any armed action,” he announced, adding that combat aircraft would be ready as soon as possible, which “support this powerful force.”

As Interfax recalls, the northern province of Afghanistan, Balkh, borders on Uzbekistan, and the northeastern provinces of Kunduz, Takhar and Badakhshan border on Tajikistan.

The Taliban terrorist movement came to power in Afghanistan in August 2021. Bans imposed by the Taliban include a ban on music playing in hotels and restaurants, numerous restrictions on women (including a ban on showing women in TV movies and series), as well as a ban on shaving beards and going to barbershops.
