January bills for heating outraged Orenburg residents.

According to Orenday.ru, the amounts due for many turned out to be much higher than in payments for December.

Deputy of the Orenburg City Council Denis Baturin spoke about the massive complaints of residents of the Stepnoy settlement, the Central and Industrial districts, the North-Eastern residential district of the city. According to the people’s choice, the difference in receipts for different areas ranged from 700 to 2 thousand rubles.

Baturin noted that January was not very cold – the average air temperature in Orenburg was minus 10.6 degrees, which is lower than in January last year. “Me and the residents of Orenburg would like to hear the answer of the representatives of the Orenburg branch of the T Plus and Energosbyt + companies about what this situation is connected with. We need a full-fledged answer, preferably provided with figures, documents, and not just words. People need to know what they are paying for. And they must be sure that they do not overpay, ”the deputy said.

In the Moscow district of Koptevo, about half a thousand people took to the streets to collect signatures to appeal to the mayor’s office and the prosecutor’s office because of the huge bills for the amount of heat energy consumed in 2021. Recalculation in receipts in some cases amounted to 500% – from 4 thousand rubles to 20 thousand rubles. According to a local resident, the amount increased due to an increase in heat payments: “Allegedly, the heating season started earlier last year, a recalculation was made, and now residents have been billed such amounts in a single payment. Our eyes popped out!”
