Washing machineblender, kitchen and refrigerator are part of home appliance kit that the Government delivered this Saturday, February 12, 2022 to 20 families that were affected by the alluvium of last January 31, in the sectors of The Commune and La Gascain the north center of Quito.
Last Tuesday, February 8, the President Guillermo Lasso announced the donation from China of a budget of $100,000 for those affected by the flood. This budget will be used in refrigerators and other appliances.
The kits were delivered by Vice President Alfredo Borrero, who toured the area to verify the cleaning and reconstruction tasks carried out by state institutions, the government said in a statement.

Borrero announced that there will be medical brigades to attend to the people who were injured and who remain in their homes.
