The US is postponing approval of Pfizer’s drug for COVID-19 vaccination in children under five. This is reported by the Bloomberg news agency, adding that the process may be delayed until the spring of 2022.

It was previously assumed that the possibility of giving children two doses of the vaccine would be considered next Tuesday. Vaccine developers are now being asked to gather and evaluate more information about the possibility of a third dose of Pfizer.

In the meantime, the US government has ensured sufficient supplies of the Pfizer vaccine for all 18 million children aged six months to four years.

.The United States is one of the world leaders in the number of citizens vaccinated against COVID-19, although forgeries are also possible here. Nevertheless, there are more than enough opponents of mandatory vaccination in this country – the reason for the impending protests of American truckers, like their Canadian counterparts, is precisely the requirements for mass vaccination and the restrictions introduced due to the pandemic.
