The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia, reacting to a sharp increase in the cost of gasoline at gas stations (gas stations), initiated a case against Lukoil-Uralnefteprodukt, a subsidiary of NK LUKOIL in the Perm Territory.
As stated in the press service of the department, “the Perm OFAS concluded that the sharp increase in the cost of gasoline at gas stations in the fourth quarter of 2021 was not economically justified.”
At the same time, the FAS recalled that since January of this year, the work of headquarters “for monitoring the situation on the oil products market” has been resumed under the territorial bodies of the antimonopoly service.
We also add that, according to Rosstat, consumer prices for gasoline on average in Russia from January 29 to February 4 did not change in relative terms after rising by 0.2% a week earlier, and since the beginning of this year, retail gasoline has risen in price by 0, 9%.
A rise in fuel prices was recorded in 31 regions of the Russian Federation, and prices rose the most in the Kemerovo and Chelyabinsk regions – by 0.5%.
