The Russians were reminded of the payment of the “old” retirement age

The right to retire at the “old” retirement age, that is, upon reaching the age of 55 for women and 60 for men, is for those who have an insurance record of at least 42 and 37 years. Larisa Sorokina, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, said this, Prime reports.

“The previous retirement age is retained by the majority of citizens who have the right to early retirement. These include, for example, employees who receive a pension earlier than the generally established retirement age due to work in difficult, dangerous and harmful working conditions, for which employers pay additional pension insurance premiums at special rates,” she noted.

According to Sorokina, teachers, doctors and actors can count on early retirement in 2022 if the experience is 30 years for men and 25 for women. Owners of the northern experience, women who have raised three children, can retire earlier (for five years).

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law, according to which insurance pensions in the country will be indexed at the level of 8.6% from January 1 this year. Thus, after indexation, the average old-age insurance pension this year will reach 18,984 rubles.

Earlier, the Pension Fund reported that residents of villages in the Russian Federation can receive an increase in pensions of 25%. Recalculation occurs automatically, you do not need to contact the FIU. To receive the allowance, you must have at least 30 years of work experience in agriculture, live in a rural area, and also be an unemployed pensioner. When calculating the total experience, work in collective farms, state farms and other agricultural enterprises and organizations is taken into account, the Pension Fund specified.
