Streaming service Hulu has ordered 20 new episodes of the animated adult sci-fi comedy series Futurama. It is reported by Variety.

The revival was spearheaded by the show’s creators, David X. Cohen and Matt Groening. Actors Billy West, Katey Sagal, Tress MacNeil, Maurice LaMarche, Lauren Tom, Phil LaMarr and David Herman are reportedly returning to their voice roles.

John DiMaggio, who voiced Bender and several secondary characters, is not currently in the cast, but the producers do not lose hope of agreeing with him. If it fails, Bender will speak with a new voice. On Twitter, producers are already being advised to simply offer the actor a “normal” fee.

The first episode of Futurama aired on November 14, 1999 on FOX. In total, the TV show has seven seasons, and its final episode was shown on Comedy Central in September 2013.

The plot of the cartoon revolves around pizza delivery man Philip Fry, who accidentally froze himself on the last day of 1999 and woke up a thousand years later. In the future, he met the mutant Leela and the robot Bender, became friends with them and embarked on a wide variety of adventures for seven seasons.
