A US Air Force B-52 bomber capable of carrying nuclear weapons was spotted on the morning of February 10 on its way to the British airbase Fairford. This is reported by the Deeside website.

According to the site, a total of four bombers took off from Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota around 2 a.m. GMT.

According to Interfax, citing data from the US Air Force Command in Europe, the aircraft arrived at the British Royal Air Force base Fairford in England to carry out the previously planned mission of the operational bomber group. The Command clarified that the United States regularly sends aircraft to temporary bases in Europe to carry out training flights, including near Russian borders.

The Command also emphasized that the “rotational deployment” of bombers strengthens the commitment of the States to NATO allies. How long American strategic bombers will stay in Europe is not reported.
