The Kremlin will “revenge” Ukraine for the defeat in the information war. As Dialog.UA reports, political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin stated this on Espreso.TV.

“Putin is not ready for a major military operation, he was not ready, and he does not want a war. But he also cannot say: “Sorry, I lost” … He will not be able not to take revenge on Ukraine for a rather obvious defeat in the information war, where he was always strong like no one else, ”he said.

According to Oreshkin, the Kremlin will deliver not military, but political, economic, and information strikes from the most unexpected sides. He admitted that “there may be provocations on the border of Belarus” or a military operation according to the Georgian scenario.

“Putin never forgives anyone for anything,” the political scientist is sure.

Recently, in Western countries, as well as in Ukraine, there have been statements about a possible “invasion” of Russia into Ukrainian territory. The US agency Bloomberg published a headline about Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, then removed it and acknowledged the error. Publications continue to this day. Reuters, citing two unnamed US officials, reported that the losses of the Ukrainian military in the event of an “invasion” by Russia could range from 5,000 to 25,000 people. According to the publication, from 25 thousand to 50 thousand may die among the civilian population, from 3 thousand to 10 thousand among the Russian military. The total maximum number of possible victims in the event of a Russian “invasion”, according to the United States, is 85 thousand. According to the publication, “this graph, as well as the growing number of Russian military forces near Ukraine, may indicate that the window of diplomacy is closing.” The Washington Post, citing U.S. officials and intelligence sources, reports that Russia “has deployed about 70% of the forces and assets needed for a large-scale invasion to the borders of Ukraine.” The article stated that “according to updated US military and intelligence estimates presented to lawmakers and European partners”, Russia would “take two days” to enter Kiev. According to the publication, this could “lead to the death of up to 50 thousand civilians (…), cause a humanitarian crisis, as a result of which up to 5 million refugees will flee from the resulting chaos.”
