This year the UCG, together with the Technical and Technological Unit, offer five races with a duration of two years that, according to Bernardita Justiniano, academic vice-rector, “respond to students who expect to have functional skills in a delimited area of performance.” These are Inclusive Education, Comprehensive Care for the Elderly, Digital Communication, Advertising Design, Sales and Accounting, and Tax Advice.
have also been incorporated 17 undergraduate courses, including Educational Psychology, with emphasis on intervention in socio-educational settings –school or non-school–. According to Daniel Calderón, professor at the Faculty of Human Ecology, Education and Development, “Some of these careers have been offered before at our university as mentions or itinerariesin which several professionals have been trained and today stand out in the field. It is worth mentioning that all these careers are highly demanded at the labor level.”.
The Faculty of Administration and Political Sciences added Digital Business and Law.
In Digital Business students will acquire knowledge that will allow them to adapt to the active digital ecosystem at a national and international level. Meanwhile in Right the casagrandines “They will be able to contribute to the community of professionals with innovative proposals that can outline new reflexive and critical positions that contribute to strengthening in the area of corporate, business and business law”, says Angélica Gómez, coordinator of the race.
Other races that are added are Digital Marketing, Product Design, Textile and Clothing Design, Sports Management, Cultural Management, Digital Animation, Literature and Architecture. According to Dean Rodrigo Cisternas, the focus that will be given at the UCG is “design habitats that make sense in the human relations that will be generated from the interaction.” Added to this are the master’s degrees in Public Administration, Educational Administration, Neuropsychology, Digital Business and Cybersecurity.
